Proclaiming God's Word. Why now of all times?
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
(John 1:1)
He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.
(Rev 19,13)
Dear fellow Christians
"Father, why do you urge us with such urgency, deep seriousness and loving determination to read or proclaim your word aloud in public right now" With this question I have gone to the Father and to Jesus over and over again. For one thing, the two verses above have made me aware once again in a deeper way of how absolutely identical God and His Word are with each other. And the Father told me, "In and through my word you will know me, and it is the ABC for your life, now on earth and for eternity."
Each of us had to learn the ABCs at the beginning of our school years in order to then be able to read and write. In the church/community of Jesus, there are only so many illiterates. They have never learned the ABC of following Jesus, because they have never read the Word of God. That is why we do not know Jesus holistically, but are content with the morsels that are put in front of us and taste very good. He must be kind, have no demands on me, allow and tolerate everything, exclude no one and in no case polarize. These are all ideas and wishes that I have heard from "Christians". How can one be so wrong? Very simple answer: If one does not know the word of God himself and relies on blind blind guides and listens to them still so gladly and believes. There is a battle raging for and against the Word of God. That the world respects it for nothing and also fights it vehemently is not surprising. But how openly it is also fought by parts of the church is probably unique. But the more dangerous, more perfidious attack is the one that comes along quite subtly and therefore is not recognized as such: Where things are added or omitted because one wants to please everyone. Only nowhere to cause offense and not to be put into the sect corner!
There would be further reasons why God would like to put his whole word once again into the center. And maybe that is why from the geographical center/center of Switzerland?
So it is about so much more than "just" reading the whole Bible once again. Father wants to start a "Toward the Word of God" movement that will permeate His people and make them devoted followers of Jesus. To encourage us, he gave me an impression with several pictures. I saw a really huge person on the Älggialp who threw our spoken words over the land like seeds. Then I saw how some of the seeds became eagles and the verse from Isaiah 40:31 "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.
Another part of the seed became arrows and the verse from Habakkuk 3:9
Bare, unveiled is your bow; your oaths are the arrows, according to your word. And other seeds became butterflies. To this the Lord gave His word from 2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!
All this the Father wants and will work, if we read His word and proclaim it over country and people in faith! Therefore, come and be a part of God's work in this time.
