Just what we need at a time like this!
Pakistan Mission – Trip 27 November – 8 December 2025 We landed on time at 8:30 a.m. in Lahore, a city with a population of 14 million in north-eastern Pakistan. A seven-member welcoming committee had gathered at the airport, and we were immediately adorned with four (real) rose garlands each and welcomed. The first traditional Pakistani breakfast was spicy, delicious and, of course, eaten with our hands.

Besides all the practical preparations and the implementation on the day itself, such an event requires one thing above all: prayer! That is why we at IWS and many others with us prayed for it months before the event. What were our main prayer requests that we brought before the Father in Jesus' name? For the presence of the Holy Spirit among us and over the whole gathering. That the Israeli ambassador would be able to come. And for the participation of a rabbi. We asked for absolute protection and a trouble-free event May the roar of the Lion of the tribe of Judah be heard throughout the land and may both Christians and Jews set out and come to Bern. We also prayed again and again for good weather, so dry and neither too cold nor too hot. For the speakers/prayer leaders and that each of them would keep to the time allotted. For keen interest in the event from people who just happened to be at the Bundesplatz.
